Purposes and Goals
The goal of my website is to create my professional portfolio, as an element that canmake a difference in my personal presentation, reflecting my strengths, skills, and professional experience.
My vision is for this portfolio to showcase my digital presence and allow me to tell myprofessional story in a way that is interesting to potential employers and clients.
This will allow them to see early on how my career and experience contribute to mypersonal brand, how I communicate and connect with other people, my motivation tocreate strong business relationships, and give me the opportunity to have a permanentpresence in the digital world.
For me, this represents a significance beyond any social network or the differentplatforms for applying for a job, because it will allow me to show some specific aspectsof my work and my vision of business and marketing to people who do not know me.
My target audience is recruiters, both internal and external. My secondary audienceincludes colleagues and people I know who can help me expand my professionalnetwork.
The main objectives of my website are:
1. To showcase my professional experience, the projects I have worked on, and myskills in a visually appealing, structured, organized, and clean way, both in terms ofcontent and appearance.
2. To showcase my knowledge of website creation, the tone and voice I use tocommunicate, color psychology, shapes, typography, content strategy, and theprinciples of digital marketing.
3. Be part of my strategy as an element that can make a difference in my favor whencompanies make the decision to hire professional services in my favor, compared toother applicants, and that can be shared digitally with others in a simple, fast way fromanywhere.
I chose Bluehost as my web hosting provider because I have worked withthis service before and it was very easy for me to renew my membership.Last year I had a good experience with this company, because when I hada technical issue, I contacted support and they helped me quickly to solveit; communication was simple and the response was fast and effective.Bluehost offers 24/7 customer service.
Bluehost offers integration with WordPress, has an easy-to-use controlpanel, free SSL certificates, automatic backups depending on the plan, andenough storage to create a portfolio website. It also has access toprofessional themes that are very useful for creating good structures.
When comparing plans, I paid close attention to prices, renewal dates, andmonthly versus annual billing. I also looked at plans with or withoutautomatic renewal after 12 months of subscription. Bluehost’s plans arecompetitively priced, although the costs were listed in US dollars. Serverreliability and global accessibility were also key factors.
Overall, Bluehost met the technical requirements I need to do this job.
